North East Supported Employment (NESEP) services are designed
to assist persons who face barriers due to disability to obtain
and maintain community based paid employment. NESEP is a cross
disability program and helps individuals who self identify
as having a disability.
NESEP
strives to assist employers with integrating persons with
disabilities into the workplace by providing on site training,
disability awareness training, support and encouragement.
“Supported
Employment is an approach to assisting individuals with disabilities
to prepare for, obtain and maintain integrated community based,
paid employment. A variety of support is tailored to individual
requirements. Employment is defined as an employer/employee
relationship or self-employment.” Saskatchewan Association
